Sam Dulmage is an award-winning writer and actor. Since his early work as a sketch comedian his body of work has expanded in both form and genre, incorporating drama, comedy, science fiction, horror, musicals, and non-fiction.

His produced writing output includes 12 shorts with Steam Powered Films, two live solo shows, a videogame, a six-episode sitcom, and several hours of sketch comedy with The Legend of Bonefish and Long Hard Comedy Rocket. The stage play Shine: A Burlesque Musical, written with Cass King and John Woods, won an Ovation award for Best New Work before touring to Seattle and New York. Screenplays include the occult thriller Hell To Pay, written with Mike Jackson, and the future noir mystery The Big Blue Room, winner of the Jeff Kitchen award at FTX West.

With a strong sense of rhythm, a poet’s ear for dialogue, and a robust structural toolkit, Sam brings his intuition and analysis to each new project and to his work as a story editor. He is currently writing a social history of Vancouver architecture. He sings blues and soul and makes the world's best omelets.
